Janine Booysens is a renowned Contemporary Dance Choreographer, Teacher, and Workshop Facilitator from Cape Town, South Africa, with a diverse dance journey that began with Classical Ballet training at age 7. She excelled in the Jazzart Dance Theatre Young Adult and Job Creation Programme, receiving a bursary, and later earned a full scholarship for the University of Cape Town’s Dance Teacher’s Diploma program, where she graduated in 2011 with majors in Contemporary Dance and Pedagogy.
